Tell me I’m not crazy!
That design is such an improvement over Aston’s, which was too understated.
This has just the right amount of ferocity, muscle and elegance.

It’s just a different aesthetic. The DB9 is supposed to be understated. This makes it a different car to appeal to a different buyer.

^Approximately how crazy you are.
In all seriousness though I can just about see where you’re coming from, but it’s not for me.

I think I prefer the DBS when it comes to a slightly more aggressive and less understated DB9.
Also while not that much more aggressive, the Virage was a great development of the original DB9's styling.

I personally like them.
But I can see why you feel that way. They are really in-your-face.

You’re right.
